Surveyor's Office

The Tipton County Surveyor maintains the county’s section cornerstones and the county - regulated drain Jason Hendersonsystem, provides technical assistance concerning drainage to the drainage board and reproduces maps.

The Surveyor’s Office keeps the location and details of all county-owned and maintained drains and tiles. It also provides notary public service.

What we don’t do:

  • Survey privately owned property
  • Determine if a property is in a flood zone or wetland
  • Settle property boundary disputes
  • Prepare plats of private property
